This is not a zoo in the traditional sense.  It is a sanctuary with a range of animal species…that were orphaned or discarded and would have faced certain death if it were not for this family run organization.  If you are looking for an educational family day then stop by and see these interesting creatures.  A second reason for coming is to see how human compassion works in reality, not in theory.  That’s a great day lesson for the budding biologist in the family.
