I had the opportunity to visit the Discovery Wildlife Park….with my grandson.  It was an awesome experience not only visiting the animals but going on the bear tour….was very exciting for the boy.  A must see if you are in the area.  You will be surprised.  I know I was.

The staff at the park are incredible.  You can see the bonds they share with the animals.  They will also spend endless amounts of time speaking to the public and answering questions – something you couldn’t do at the zoo.  There are many opportunities for photos and encounters and every cent goes back to the animals.  If you’re a lover of animals, want to get up close and have an amazing day, then I suggest you take a trip to Discovery Wildlife Park!

We did the behind the scenes cat and wolf walk.  You definitely get you monies worth and then some!! You can walk a wolf and get close to the cats, fence is still a barrier for you safety. The bear show was fabulous!!  GusGus the beaver was adorable.  Park is clean and animals have big spaces.

Thank you and your staff for making this past weekend such a great experience.  We enjoyed the spacious camp site and excellent customer service.  The tour and animal experiences were without question the highlight.  It is clear that the animals in your zoo are loved and cared for to the highest degree.  …This will be an adventure that we have and will happily endorse to friends and family.
